thanks yo! that trick came from the taw thread a couple years ago and it has the tutorial for the whole trick and there’s a discussion about that element but it’s just a keychain whip from the outside if you know that move. the tutorial doesnt go in super depth on that part so if it’s still not clear lemme know and i can film something for you that might clear it up. one big tip is after the whip part when you roll onto the double string, land it pretty close to your nth finger. thatll make the tail that swings into the gap longer. also if you have a yo with a bit tighter gap thatll help too. if i do it on a bigger gap i kinda gotta swing the slack back toward the gap a little to get it to catch
