Osprey and Ptarmigan (C & D Bearing Versions) by Featherspin Throws & GIVEAWAY!

Definitely going with the Ptarmigan!

Corvus for me! :bird:

The Osprey for sure - what a body!

D bearing ptarmigan!!

The Osprey is my favorite as well!

I wish I could answer, but I have never tried a Featherspin yoyo. I am intrigued. The matador spikes are a cool design element

Never tried a featherspin but an osprey is one of my favorite birds (and one of the coolest aircraft ) so I’ll go with that. The design looks really appealing to me as well.

Never been able to throw any of them but ptarmigan birds are sick. Pick me!!!

I’ve tried all 4 of FeatherSpin’s current offerings. Ptarmigan is my favorite, Osprey is a very close second. Ptarmigan has a feel I can only describe as “bubbly.” True to descriptions, it can go fast and is quite maneuverable, but it is just as fun to play at a slower speed. The only issue I had with Corvus was that it was a smidge underpowered, Ptarmigan fixes that for me while still being very fun to play with. If I could, I’d love to try out the D bearing model to see the difference; there is an element of fun to the feel of a D that can’t be found with a C, a feeling I was chasing at times while throwing the Ptar that was in the FlockBox PIF

Osprey is an homage to performance throws of the 2000’s and it shows in the best way; aggressive profile with the largest hub spike of any FeatherSpin, as well as the largest inner rim and overall size of the flock. This translates to one thing: SPEEED AAND POWERRRR!!! You want that? This raptor’s got it in spades!
