If it helps you understand better, these are the kind of conversations that David and I are having. I told him to just drop those teal ones as soon as they were ready for the sake of getting them out faster. We have pink coming (look at that color! It’s so dang good!) and we’re holding off on dropping Aaron’s player edition to drop them along with the pink so that we have more available at once. Trickling stuff out one colorway at a time is good for getting them into people’s hands when they’re messaging us all day asking but it’s not how either of us like to release stuff because it’s honestly more work. One big sale, one big round of shipping is sooo much easier.
We’re doing our best to just get these out the door. We sorta caught the tiger by the tail with this one so there’s honestly no way we can quite keep up with the demand. Sorry about that, but I promise we’re trying.

Thank you, Steve. Tone can be hard to convey here but I really do appreciate the kind and informative response.
My position is really only this: I like making an informed decision, and knowing what my options are before buying something is most helpful. I’ve been hasty in the past and have bought things I might not have otherwise if I’d known what was forthcoming.
Anyway, the pink Summit 2 rules and I’m excited to see more photos.

only thing I could potentially see someone criticize is OD/CL missing it would be an instant sell out. i figured it would sell out within the first couple minutes considering what type of project it was. other big releases sold out quick, crucible being one of them. but no big deal at all
i’m with ya here, the new teal looks great, but if there’s a splash in blue or something i like more, i might be sliiiightly bummed. not sure when to step in and buy one because of that

Also I’m curious why yoyos became less shiny and have a matte finish now? I miss the old metallic look

I’m looking into buying a house. If only everyone that was going to sell their house in my town in the next few months would let me know and also for how much. Then I would be really happy and make a much more informed decision.

I’m sure those that are feeling “cheated” or “shoulda waited” could sell the one you did buy at drop to fund a pink/ whatever new color? Either before or after buying a color you do like?
Any BST listing for one would likely get snapped up immediately, right?

Grinds. Shiny is a bit sticky. Looks nice but slows the yoyo down more when it hits your skin.
