Notable Astro/Double Dice Contest Performances

Hey All,

I’m just getting into Astro stuff and wanted to find some good contest routines to draw inspiration from. The stuff I have found are:

  1. Iskandar Shah - basically all his routines are astro so easy to find
  2. John Wolfe - Chesapeake 2022, are there others?
  3. Takeshi Matsuura - seen people mentioning it but can’t find any, which contests should I be looking for? I did see his demo last year at a Chinese contest. It was absolutely amazing!
  4. Guangping Bai - posted on his IG story after missing finals in this year’s WYYC that he planned to do some astro in his finals routine. Excited to potentially see it next year.

I would appreciate if anyone can fill in the gaps and help me find some that I haven’t come across yet

Shuichi Teruya in my mind was one of the biggest people pushing astro from 2021-2025.

If you go pre-2010 you’ll find a lot of players like David Mellons who weren’t doing entirely astro focused freestyles, but they were using two dice. So they usually have at least one or two astro tricks in the routine.
