For their latest design King Yo Star wanted to make a single metal version of their popular Rapid yo-yo. Something that would perform as well, but can be offered at a lower price point. With a few tweaks to the design we think they came up with an excellent playing yoyo – The Rapid Light!

The idea behind the Rapid Light was to create a single metal version of the original bi-metal Rapid. The Rapid was fast, stable, and an incredibly powerful feeling yo-yo, and that’s the exact same feeling you get from the Rapid Light – At almost half the price!

The Rapid Light has the same basic shape and dimensions as the Rapid but with a few important design tweaks that took the popular bi-metal design into a single metal form. King Yo Star beefed up the rims to compensate for the missing steel ring weight and made the edges a little less angled for a comfortable feeling in hand.

Overall the solid aluminum Rapid Light turned out fantastic! Fast, Stable, and more maneuverable than it’s predecessor – The Rapid Light is the perfect competition level yo-yo for any play style!
