Am i the only one still working on - Rodeo GT?
Yup
Jk. I still work on it from time to time. I stopped getting better, so I gave it a rest for a while. Now I have off days and on days where I canāt land more than 1 in 20 or I canāt seem to miss it it all.
Yes, the rest of us gave up.
You inspired me to reviste it this week. Letās see if i can get it this time aroundā¦ that whip under the trapeze is really a puzzle!
Those of us who have sussed it, donāt give this secret up easily!
If i manage to hit the slack i still cant flip it on the land, and i still cant pop out of the final GT like the video. I have the hold the triangle open with a finger and flick it outā¦ soā¦ not really close
Ugh, this one is really annoying me, canāt get my head around the beginning bit. Will try again tomorrow.
This weeks trick coming shortly!
Alright friends, here we go!
TAW #24 (?) META Quick Slack
Brought to you by trustly 'ol YoyoJoe.
I dig the flow of this, really hoping to hit it. Looks quite doable.
This looks doable. Im halfway through like 5 tricks but i will add one more
Been studying the hand movements of this.
He doesnāt verbalize this, but note that when shooting the slack the NTH rotates clockwise to a palm down position. It gives a little more umfh to the slacks shooting motion.
Yea this one requires a little more force from the slack, almost like throwing it in, normal string tension isnt enough. Also flicking the TH harder down to the right.
Glad these tips were posted, as Iāve been shouting obscenities for a while for why the slack wasnāt getting close enough to getting around (I hate anyone who is good at slack tricks).
Yeahā¦ thatās when things start to go downhill for me.
I still canāt hit the tension hooks from the first year of TAW yāall.
This will be a breakthrough week for me.
Ok, tried the new tips, still no where near hitting the slackā¦ Friction burn though lol
Yeah Iām still working on all the other tension hooks this one isā¦ challenging for sure.
With these tension hooks, string tension is super important when youāre learning. As you get better at them it isnāt such a big deal.
Iāve been having fun playing with different ways to enter the trick, but its still a bit tricky to get the pacing smooth.
My tips for the slack: If I try to flick it to the right it never comes close. Ive found more of a J-shaped push down and slightly left to be pretty consistent
This is good, pacing is for sure the hardest part. The second mount to prepare the tension is the hardest part for me. Getting into that mount smoothly is tough
