You can do any mod on a California. Same as any other yoyo. There have already been a ton of other threads that are just like this, just for different yoyos. My point is that there is no mods that you do for a certain yoyo, you can do any mod for any yoyo. I think you got my point. 
I know the perfect thing to do! It’s called “keeping it stock so you dont risk breaking it”. Only a select few know how to do it, since it is still a very experimental process
