Mk1 Yoyos - Official News

Laze, coming soon

This is an experimental colorway, kind of fragile but very cool looking. It’s painted with nitro-oil paint. It’s not very good for walking the dog, as it can chip easily, and it’s also pretty bad for grinds. I hope some people like it anyhow!

Wait! Another yoyo is coming even sooner!

This is my collaboration with yoyofriends, the Heron. It’s a tri-material fingerspin lock-in design that has a good mix of width, power, comfort, and a cool polycarbonate rim.

We’re doing a small release on our stores first (pink/blue fade for mk1, and the rest for yoyofriends). Full release will be at retailers in the new year.

Looks sweet! I’ve always loved the Great Blue Herons that would wade and fly by my home. I may need one of these!

I like polycarbonate better than delrin because of things like this - when it has a nice frosted surface finish it picks up diffuse colors from around it. It’s also very good at picking up environmental light.

It almost appears to glow!
