Yeah. I’m jumping on any update I see. I really hope I don’t miss this. This would also be my first MK1 unresponsive. So there’s that.
if it’s even remotely close to how the exia plays, you’re in for a real treat! and given how often i see ppl mention seeking @MarkD advice on design, I’m confident it will be that good
Also given all the MK1’s I’ve had the pleasure of playing before, haven’t found a dud yet!
Two rings to rule them all, Two rings to grind them, Two rings to return them all, and in the combos bind them.
-peeking at some of the other colorways in the background as well-
No doubt. I felt like the black would unquestionably be to One but I’m looking at that deep red near the top and holy cow!!!
i also see some deep purp!!
Man these are soooo sick
PURPLE. IS. LIFE.
Aw, man. Gotta get one of these.
@MarkD if there aren’t enough of these I’m close enough to Georgia to old man fist shake on your lawn til you drop more
Updated on the Archive with stats and color speculation!
I finally weighed the production batch - they are just about 64g.
@MarkD - What’s the gap width?
I don’t have a very accurate way to measure this right now, but it’s around 4.5mm.
Curiously, the word “Purple” doesn’t show up in the Hobbit or the Lord of the Rings.
This sparkling blue is based off of Vilya, the ring that eventually found its way to Elrond.
Oh yes!! More please!!!
The rest of the Three - Vilya, Narya, and Nenya (Blue, red, and silver).
These were the three great rings of power that were made without Sauron’s influence. Nenya was given to Galadriel by Celebrimbor. Narya was first given to Círdan the shipwright, and later, to Gandalf, who carried it during the Third Age.
I think I have enough left to snag one of these, hoping it’s the first “drop” I can actually “catch”
