I was gonna buy the cheaper halfswap, then wait for thrash polka to drop. I definitely wanted an Eh version to go with my spacious skies from the first run. However, cosmic hippo was just too cool a name to turn down 
Also, while I’ve looked about, I have no idea when said thrash polka runs are dropping. Anyone have any idea lemme know, I really want a yye edition too.

Actually did manage to snag one from the last Monkey Flyer drop which felt insane!
…but I’ve missed every other drop I’ve ever wanted.

I tried for a Deadly S7ns, assuming I’d miss it and was genuinely surprised when I got through checkout. They were all sold in ~2 minutes. MFD fans don’t mess around!

I don’t know if I’ve ever missed a drop of something I wanted but I’ve yet to have the G2 or Monkey Finger drop experience (and probably won’t).
The thing I run into is every cool colorway of a yo-yo I find later on after release is usually sold out.
