Hereā€™s the deal peeps. All PC work is on hold till further notice.

3ā€™ of water in the work shop and a 1ā€™ of water in my house has left us in a bad spot. Once I can get cleaned up enough and get the adjusters in there I plan on starting back on the PC work.

I will keep updates coming as things unfold here.

See you soon,
Bob

Sorry to hear, Iā€™ll miss all of your beautiful works. Stay safe my friend! And would it be possible to PC only certain areas of a wooden yoyo? Such as only the catch zone?

Things are drying out a bit here and I have begun working on the garage/shop. For now I plan on just a small enough area to do some work which is all I really need anyway.

Insurance adjusters are on the way by the beginning of the week and once they view what they need the real work can start for the clean up. Depending on what happens with the house we may not be back in it for some time.

Hope to be talking to those who have inquired about pc work by mid week.

See ya soon

well Iā€™m glad to hear you and your family are safe. is there any other problems other than flooding?

Iā€™m surprised you plan on running back up so soon. Iā€™ll definitely get some stuff done by you if it helps you recover from Sandy.

To tell you the truth the powder coating for me is a little bit of therapy. I love being in the shop messing with something and if this whole thing takes a while to get settled Iā€™m gonna need a corner of my shop back to keep my sanity in tact.

My wife and boys are comfortable right now at my mother and fatherā€™s house as they have plenty of room for us. But the old saying thereā€™s no place like home does ring true.

Ditto!

have you ever powdercoated a dv888? if so, do you have any pictures? hope things are ok for you after the storm.

Thank you. DV888 on page 4 of this thread.

Well hereā€™s the deal as far as my Powder Coating.

As of now I am taking orders on a limited basis. My family and I are still not in our house and donā€™t know when we will be. I managed to clean up enough in my shop so I can do some work so like I said limited basis for now.

Those who are interested please pm me and we can take it from there.

Bob
