adjustable gap unless i can be convinced otherwise, so i can change between responsive and unresponsive
i have the duncan drifter but i want something that can sleep a bit longer and is better with string tricks… i like the size of the drifter but wouldnt be against getting something a bit bigger bigger

Any yoyo can be made to be unresposive or responsive.
That being said, I’d go with a YoYoFactory Velocity. Good price, adjustable gap, and one of the best yoyos I’ve seen in action.
Depending on how frivilous you want to get, X-Convicts have adjustable gaps, and that’s one of my favorite yoyos, not sure how it compares to the Drifter is terms of size though. None in stock.
But if your looking for a longer sleep time, just replace the friction stickers with silicone stickers and clean the bearing, that should fix a bit of your problem, you could also work on your throw, seeing that 99 percent of people who need longer sleep tims also have crappy throws. lol
