Rather than start from scratch on the Level 6 yo-yo, C3 set out to build a model that was reflective of the many design elements in their current signature series yo-yos. Level 6 has been built on inspiration from both the many core C3 sponsored players and their yo-yos: Shinya Kido’s Krown, Ethan Wong’s Mo-witation, Peter Pong’s P.wave, and Augie Fash’s Electric Flash. Level 6 is a elegant blend of everything that C3 is.

Available in an array of stunning acid-wash colors and a very affordable price tag, “Level.6″ definitely an excellent choice for the unresponsive player whether they are learning their first string trick or getting ready for a major contest.
You’ll have to share your thoughts about this YoYo when you receive it. I’m always curious about YoYo’s in that price range. There have been some sensational values in the last year or two in that price range, and I hope this is one of them.
I will give you the scoop when it arrives. I’m wondering how it will play compared to their other value metal…Dibase. That YYE logo is a good start though.
We’ve had the Level 6 for some time in Europe now, and I’ve only seen excellent reviews.
Nothing to do with the DiBase, nor the DiBase 2. It’s more competition-ready, more performant than the Capless. It can easily be compared with the Shutter.
I got my Level 6 yesterday. I will have a chance to throw it this evening and give you my thoughts.
But, in the meantime, look at that packaging. It looks so classy. I requested YYE send me a splash just how I like them…nice and even. I just wrote that in the order notes. They did a great job, and I can tell without removing it from the box.

I have a first impression after throwing this a few times. The weight is perfect for me, but for anyone concerned about that, it plays a tad bit lighter than the actual weight might suggest. It is almost the exact same weight as a Shutter, but it plays a bit lighter than that to me. I consider it to be a “well rounded” budget metal that I think a lot of people would enjoy. I cannot imagine anyone disliking it, and I would consider buying a second one. I’ll also add, that the yo-yo presents extremely well in person. I don’t think you will get a better presentation (packaging, anodizing, engraving) on another yo-yo at this price. It just looks like something that should cost so much more. It is stable, smooth…will meet pretty high expectations, especially at this price range. I’ll post some photos in a bit to better show the look of it. This tops their previous value metal…Dibase, for sure. If you want to spend $50, and have a throw that plays and looks like it costs more…this is a great choice. Photos coming soon.
