I’m out here but it’s dead today. I think it’s just been too hot for most people to come to the park.
Got cold drinks, backpack full of some of my personal throws, and two totes full of magic yoyos to give away to anyone interested.
This is my fifth week hosting meet ups here. Not trying to make it a huge thing so there is no FB group or anything like that. I’ve had one kid that keeps showing up but he has missed the last two. Hopefully just due to the heat.
I’m going to remain consistent, hopefully get more members to host small contest with nice prizes for top three.

Keep it up. For nearly 2 years, it was just me and my buddy Chris. Then, we started doing them more often in a social place, a brewery. And people started coming. Some times it just takes time. And it really does help to get your name out there. Decide on a name, tell people where you’ll be at and when on other platforms. People do want to connect, you just have to let them know you are there.
And now I have a group of people I call friends, that I always look forward to hanging out with.

Well, you’re out here over there. And I’m out here over here. And if you were over here and I was over there, I would know where over here is and you would know where over there was
And I’m sure at least a few people would be over there if they knew where ‘ out here was’.
I will try to find you. I will start from over here and work my way over there. And if I eventually run into you, when you say, I’m out here, you can also say Mo is out here too. He was over there but now he’s over here and no one‘s over there.
So now that everybody knows where you’re at… I got a question for you.

As @OhDavidBowie said keep at it. I started a club in the library once a month over a year ago. I’m happy to say last month we had a bunch of people throwing together 3 or 4 of us with above average skill, but a nice group and a bunch of other regulars that actually didn’t show up last time. I’m very excited for the next meet!
Keep it up! Post on a few sites, keep telling people and spreading the word. Good luck friend!
