I'm enjoying spin tops more than yoyo's

So I just got my spin tops today and I’m starting to learn how to throw out of about 20 throws. I’ve had four perfect landings and I found a video where you can pop it in your hand and hold it which is cool and I’m really enjoying myself. I ain’t going to lie after the spin time once and I think flew all over the place. It went into the next room and I was actually laughing which I haven’t done with the yo-yos.

I’ve actually been thinking of maybe keeping a couple of yo-yos but maybe getting rid of some because I’m just not having fun with it. I don’t know why but yo-yos are not clicking with me like the spin top is.

So far I’ve been able to get the yoyo factory bearing model to spin. Awesome! And I’m finding it really enjoyable.

I know I’m very new and I should not be buying any more spin tops, but what other spin tops do you guys recommend that are maybe a little larger or spin tops that you like. I don’t really plan on buying anything right now. I’m just trying to get some ideas for the future

I think I like yoyo’s and spin top’s equally. I’m an impulsive buyer, so I tend to buy a lot and then end up only playing with a few once I figure out the style that I like. With tops though, there’s not really a lot out there compared to yoyo’s, so my top collection is much smaller than my yoyo’s. Availability is sort of an issue as well with tops, the demand is just not there, so the stores only stock a few!
