Mine smells bad. Like a machine shop. Oil,grease, etc. Not really a big deal, adds character to it 
Mine came complete with a crapload of ano flaws 
But it smells like just fine.

I don’t know how you got flaws. From what I understand, Hspin has high expectations. Mine was perfect.
Except for the fact that I had to clean the bearing.
They say to, but I don’t see why not just put a dry bearing in it.
The bearing is nice, the plastic part I assume makes it incredibly quiet.
Mine got slightly louder when I cleaned it, but it was expected.
It’s still quieter than all of my other bearings.
After reading this , got one . Black only , but the yo looks good.
