So on some of the larger threads that have new posts when I press them it takes me to the top of the thread. I have to scroll all the way down through hundreds of posts to get to the new ones and it kinda gets annoying. Is there a way to do this quicker or am I missing something?

on the right of your screen should be a scrolling bar, like this.
and if your at the bottom, and wanna get to the top easily, you can click on the thread title. like this.

Click on the red counter:
Which will bring up a drag-able scroll bar:

You can also press the end key on your keyboard.
From the topic list try clicking or tapping on the post number as well… see the yellow highlighted area?
And guess what clicking or tapping on the date in the topic list does… g’wan… guess…
