Hello,
I’m designing a yoyo and I want to be able to use snow tires but I am not sure what dimensions I should use for the response gap.
I believe the width is close to 3.25mm, but I have no easy way of measuring the thickness without taking the pads out.
If someone knows the thickness off hand that would be great.

If you want to design a yo-yo I would recommend investing in some calipers and taking the time to measure them for yourself. You never know how accurate someone else will be about measurements.
This is coming from a guy who knows what he is doing. I did this myself, but seeing as I don’t trust myself with this kind of thing, I am 3d printing a test yoyo to make sure I got the measurements right. I would recommend doing this the first time you design a bearing seat based off of your measurements.
