How do you take your Ramen?

I just started actually using the soup part and its great. Honestly I have no idea why I wasn’t doing this earlier. I have also perfected the amount of soy sauce and red pepper I put in. It gives just the right amount of saltiness and heat.

I am 13 and can cook 3 things

Grilled Cheese
Ramen
Eggs

Can anyone say exactly how to put eggs in it? Sorry but to me it sounds like it will just leave raw eggs in your ramen, I am not advanced at all in cooking.

No, you put the egg in while the water is still boiling or boiling-hot. It will cook the egg. That’s how they make egg drop soup!

Yeah. Just drop it in the water. You’ll kind of have a pouched egg. It’s awesome.

Ramen is a form of currency in the prison system. I grew up very poor and Ramen was a staple for lunch or dinner with or without “doing it up” with extras. As an adult I hate Ramen! I hope that my dinner budget is never .30 cents and that MSG packet is caustic. I can think of a gozillion foods I would rather consume.

Get. Out. Of. This. Thread. >:( >:(

(just kidding. )

I feel tubby, but sometimes when I’m having a really good day, I’ll get four packages of ramen noodles and cook them into a huge bowl and eat all of it. It’s A LOT of noodle.

Holy crapoly! That’s a 1600 calorie meal. I’m a big guy and I’m not sure I could eat all that and keep it down. I’m impressed

I don’t like ramen

Didn’t you post a ramen recipe?

?

Just because one post a recipe, doesnt mean that they like it.
Many top chefs prepare dishes using ingredients and flavors they don’t always enjoy, but they do so as it is often what sells, and will please the masses.

Take this into account.

Haru

I’ll also take in to account you’re just being difficult

I like ramen.

You would probably like it if you tired REAL ramen.

If you went to a China Town or something, it is way different than the kind you have experienced.

The broth is actually legit, and the Noodles are actual Noodles made from real dough, not dried out noodles that become spongy when saturated in water.

Prepare yourselves…

Well most of us know about me goin to jail. Ramen was the main selection on my commissary list.

Ill start simple for yall.

Regular ramen- water boiled ramen added book over the bowl noodles swell up huge add flavoring packet.

“Fried” noodle ramen- no water in bowl ramen smushed up put in microwave for two minutes stopped every 30 seconds to “shake” the ramen around, take out the wave of micros the noodle should be golden and have a slighty baked smell add water put book over top of bowl let swell add flavor.

A “swole” (stewed ramen) -
Called swole for a reason, they get huge!!! Me and the people i associated with would “swole up” every night, each throw down 2 ramens, food we saved from dinner (i.e. corn, beans, chicken, nuggets, pork, you name it) Anyways ya take all your ramens crush em up a bit put them in a small trashbag add flavoring and all the saved up food heat a bunch of water pour in bag, tie bag, massage it around for five minutes wrap in a towel, let sit for 10 mins (we usually added mac n cheese to it also for cheesy goodness) open bag and have toooo much food! Really good meal! So many things you can create! Feed a bunch of people or just make a personal with two ramens alone.

A “log” (burritoed ramen hahaaa) take 6 ramens crush them up as fine as possible, put i. Trashbag, add water casually while stirring it to give it a “doughy” consistency lay another trashbag down flat pour on bag and shape to a rectangle. Also have fpod saved or have ingredients to stuff it with. Put just the dough in the microwave for 1 minute, add stuffing as you wish, roll it up, microwave for 5 mins until crispy. Take all season packets and cheese if used mac mix woth water in bowl stir and pour all over. Good stuff aswell!

Ramen pizza- same concept as the “log” but pizzafied instead of burritofied. Haha

Choco ramen cake- split ramen in half so you basically have two “ramen buns” or “thin squares” stir hot cocoa mix with warm milk and smushed poptarts either make two by glazing the top and microwaving them or make em into a “sandwich”

There are a few more, but those are secrets  hahaha

I go hard when it comes to non-nutritional sodium pumped food hahahaha.

I thought fried noodles were called “Soba”…

red remind me that when you go to jail sometimes that your cooking adventures get a little crazy.

Do you guys know if there is anything fancy you can do to the ramen that is already in a cup, not the packets?

Too late, I completely ripped apart the cup to cook my noodles.

Cheezits. Especially the Parmesan kind. They go perfect in cup noodles.
