Hi everyone, I am new to non responsive yo-yo’s I know that with responsive ones, they need to be lubed when they fail to return while the string is tugged, how exactly do I know when a non responsive one needs to be lubed? Should it be done after a certain amount of time? (example a few days or once a week or something) Thank you in advance.
If the bearing starts sounding overly noisy it is a good idea to lube it a little bit. Sometimes dry bearings will also become responsive. Then it is a good idea to give the bearing a little oil. With that being said, some people will play their yo-yo without ever lubing the bearing.
