Had been working on this in my head for a few months.
I like it when everything just flows from thoughts, cad, final machine, To that first throw.
Ah yes, that first throw…
LORD, THAT IS AMAZING
Can’t wait for this one, sad I won’t be close to Cal States to get my hands on it.
Looking good, Ernie!
Cool, any price range?
For the love of God… please wait atleast two months to drop this one. I need to recooperate my wallet!!
haha, but any straight on pics so we can see the angles?
Looks AWESOME… Again man you just keep pumping out these great designs!!! Any idea on colorways yet?
The price is gonna be around $110
Great shot there!!! Love this shape…
Oh my! I haven’t gotten excited about a new release in quite a long time (mostly because I’ve been on forum sabbatical), but this has my attention locked firmly. As always, thanks for doing what you do.
Just thought I’d throw it out there…
but 6061 Majesty is soooooooooooo smooth and floatacious
I think you will like how it plays.
I was real happy…honestly.
Considering your habit of only releasing perfection and labeling even nearly perfect yoyos as + and B grades, my expectations just shot further through the roof.
What type of aluminum are you using? Will there be a Badass version?
Yay!
Anything fromGeneral-Yo has to be a good thing. And from what I can see; that new thing looks like another winner. It looks like General-Yo is back on-point.
I wish I could be at Cal States to snag one of those beauties. Cheers.
nkessler,
We are using 6061 top grade, and I we might do a few BA additions.
We also sunk the pads .001" more than usual, also brought the center weight in just a tad to help with horizontal tricks.
Looks like a Nest combined with a Genesis with a little bit of Entheos and Majesty.
Looks like… A new General- Yo
Fantastic. Response is something I usually don’t pay much attention to anymore, but your textured pads always make me so happy to install. I love the slight feeling of “buzz” when the string catches for the first few hundred binds and once they’re perfectly broken in, they last for months!
The Magnum has to be the most heavily rim-weighted yoyo ever made that wasn’t designed for spin-time (plus my favorite non-aluminum) and I think everyone can see how much you learned from it’s production based on how amazing every General Yo has been since. Hearing that the Model 10 will have a bit of center-weight focus is a dream come true, especially knowing how much raw knowledge of weight distribution you’ve picked up over the years.
