A lot of my plants don’t match too many of my yoyos!

The End Pt 2 is almost the same color as the petioles on my philodendron billietiae.

I’ve been throwing the Haeli more again. It doesn’t really match the albo rhaphidophora tetrasperma but this is a fancy plant for a fancy yoyo lol. The throw’s not super powerful but it rings like a bell.

Pomelo is always a good time! I chopped my huge philodendron burle marx var. down to just the best variegated parts and put them all in a pot together. It’s looking great now.

One of my newest plants, philodendron gloriosum with the Wizard. I think they look nice together

I’ll post more in here for sure! Gotta make food and my grow lights will probably be off by the time I’m done so maybe tomorrow or another day. I am mostly a philodendron guy but I have a couple other things like the raph, an anthurium, an amydrium, some hoyas. Mostly philos though they are easy to keep happy for me.

Very cool I love all the gardens, plants, cactus, and indoor plants.

My veg garden is all dying back it’s too cold at night now and I ripped my sunflowers up last weekend as they had mostly fallen over so I’ll have to be quick on this and start getting pictures in the next few weeks before it’s all dead. My marigolds and mums though. Thriving. Compensating when all the lily’s and tulips come up in spring that’s gonna be a good time too.

Yup lots of cactus near me too. I like them! The weather’s getting nicer so I might go to a botanical garden or arboretum soon and get some pics with some cool plants.

Nice! We won’t start to cool down til early November, but that sounds delightful

It’s still pretty hot out here. Sub 90s is what I consider nicer out, being in AZ. It’s supposed to be a high of 85 on monday! Maybe I’ll go then.

i thought this was about yoyo garden brand

on topic though, i never understood this type of photography. i like to baby my stuff so BST listing with yoyos nestled in rocks, woods, outdoors etc, turn me away.
i want mint yoyos and the seller photography field of expertise makes me think they are not taking care of their yoyos. you are not afraid of them getting scratches or nicks or the dirt ?

I’ve gently nestled my throw in a bunch of peddles… I’m not seeing how that’s gonna damage the yoyo more than me throwing it and accidentally hitting a surface.

Idk I treat them like toys I don’t sell my collection and if I trade I’m very clear my stuff is played with and the damage it might have. To each there own but while I may be a collector I mess with my collection often and a picture of my yoyo in a tree seems pretty benign vs my son throwing it around a parking lot.

You can’t play 3A or 5A without getting yoyo damage, obsessing over damage only limits your potential for actually doing tricks.

But like Brandon said just sitting your yoyo down on some rocks or a hard surface isn’t going to hurt them. Yoyos are made of pretty tough materials and have a layer of anodization for surface protection. None of the photos in this thread show off careless owners who don’t take care of their stuff, only people getting extra enjoyment from showing off two of their hobbies at once.

Toys is toys. I price dinged throws accordingly, and never assume anything I play with will stay mint.

I got the Duncan Orbital GTX out today! Playing a bit of 5a, added more dirt to my dragonfruit cactus today. The flowers bloom once only at night and I pollinated them with a paintbrush but in nature they’re usually pollenated by moths and bats. Hopefully getting some fruit!
