went with left for the splashes being centered adding to the feeling of symmetry. Your posts are hard to judge though! both sides always look great!

Left has some clutter in the middle, but I like the black along the rim and more even color distribution. The right side is great as well, but a little too empty at 3:00.
I like the left because there is no gap.
