I have a full ceramic c concave bearing. I was thinking with the bearing being so much lighter than the standard concave bearings will that moving the weight relatively out from the center. Will that make throws that are wider and more powerful perform differently. Any one have experience with this? Thanks

I’ve joked that you should take off or leave on, one or both bearing shields, to adjust center weight to your liking. 
What is the difference in Weight? Less than a gram, isn’t it?
I think it might not be noticeable. At least I don’t think I would notice, but some people are very sensitive to minute changes.
I heard the story that Eric Johnson keep complaining that something was wrong with his guitar tone. Finally it was discovered that a tech had changed the brand of battery in one of his pedals!

Actually, I find the cheaper Carbon Zinc batteries to sound better than your average Alkelines. More warmth. But then again, certain pedals need different stuff. Fuzzface type pedals sound much better with Carbon Zinc’s in my opinion. I’m not really using any of that stuff though at the moment and I use 9 volt adapters. When the new Juice Box LE comes out(if it ever does) I will get one of those.
Very doubtful any noticeable weight shift on the shields removal🤔
But if you scotch tape a few flies to your yo-yo, you can seriously increase Spin time…
PS… make sure the flies are both facing the same direction

Also need to make sure you have the same number and weight in flies on both sides. Otherwise, your yoyo will vibe and buzz!

this is an incredibly sexest comment, females of all genome types have options and just because they are female doesn’t mean you shouldn’t include them solely on the basis they might get pregnant. although it would probably increase health coverage costs

But as far as the question goes… I don’t think it makes any recognizable difference, I have 2 identical Edge Beyonds in mint condition and one has the original center track (stainless steel) bearing in it and the other has a full ceramic concave bearing. They both still play exactly the same as far as I can tell. The only difference is the ceramic makes more noise.
