Haha, got those marks (and most of the damage in my collection) before I learned I should take my wedding ring off while throwing.
Only magic here is how fast a tungsten carbide ring can chip pyramatte.
Brother, I had the same issue. After doing it once to a rare throw, I switched to silicone. No more dings from my ring

Lol be thankful it was anodised. Tungsten would probably gouge the bare aluminium like an ice cream scoop.
