How closely does this play to the wooly marmot 2?

The Corvus takes some inspiration from the shape of the WM2, one of my all time favorites, along with other throws, but that is where the similarities end in my opinion.
The Corvus’ specs are so different (smaller in width, diameter, and has differing weight distributions) that it makes it hard to compare play outside of a general shape similarities.

@kretzschmar did a review on it if you would like to check it out!

Bump!

Corvus came in and it’s sooooo good! Super smooth, small but feels full sized and plays wonderfully, and I don’t know what you did to that bearing, but it’s so quiet that I thought it was extra lubed and was going to play responsive on me at first, haha, but it doesn’t, just magic and whisper quiet. Spikes are perfect, this thing is a Matador champion, so happy I ended up jumping on this! You nailed that old-school feel with more modern performance than I could have imagined! CAW CAW!

The quiet is my favorite part haha. I’m autistic and bearing sounds are torture so I don’t play a lot of unresponsive. This though, it’s quieter than almost all my unresponsives, it’s small and pocketable but so balanced and long spinning that even though I suck at unresponsive I look like I know what I’m doing. Really loving it.

Just wanted to give my 2 cents on the Corvus after having the PiF for a while:

Genuinely one of the best undersized throws I’ve played in that size range. I was skeptical of it due to the size but lemme tell ya, it shattered my expectations. It spins better than I had annticipated and was an absolute joy to throw. It took a while for the pads to break in and really give nice binds/unwinds but boy howdy, after they got warmed up it was a TREAT to play with. It is one of the few throws that makes me legitimately excited to pick up and throw for an hour or more. I wholeheartedly endorse picking one up if you’re interested or on the fence - it’s such a fun little guy, you won’t be disappointed (and plus if you don’t like it, I’ll happily buy it off you )

10/10, @Cmchappell97 knocked this one out of the park.

Got it in yesterday and it shattered expectations! Probably one of the best throws I’ve been able to try this year (ik you took some inspiration from the wm2 but the Corvus actually feels a bit more solid and stable in comparison!) if you have around $80-90 as a budget (cause shipping) and want something pretty close to the oldies that’s really smooth and fun, this throw is an absolute steal! Thanks again for letting me know about it before release, definitely gonna consider using it in contest play if I ever get back to that

ps: when they do sell out, pls consider making a second run. This throw is phenomenal
