Yo this is a very cool feature and I would like to see it given a bit of love. I found the page by searching yoyo club to see if there was a database of all clubs or anything like that so I could make sure the Chicago Yoyo Club was there and it seems like this is the closest thing to that.

Also I would very much like to edit the entry for the Chicago yoyo club because that info is out of date. The Chicago Yoyo Club died during covid but was resurrected in a new form, like a phoenix of yo, and I want to push people to our club IG.

I think yoyo clubs are very cool and it would be awesome if it was easier for people to find their local club.

I know @AndreBoulay was working on some stuff for this last year. Not sure if it’s fully done yet. I would love a central source of club info in the US or even globally eventually

This was the stuff he was working last year would love to see this move forward in some way.

Would be very happy to help edit and update stuff around clubs and get people connected to clubs easier.

If a few interested folks from the community offered to help with the upkeep and maintenance of these pages I bet we could really boost visibility of clubs and help spread the love of YoYo more

Yeah I’d like to update the clubs for Philly and Jersey as well, totally agree getting people connected to clubs and other throwers is an awesome idea

Yeah the old nova club listed died during covid and the place they used to meet doesn’t even exist anymore lol

I also have been thinking of creating a how to start a yoyo club page if some sort with expectations and what is needed to help show it’s really not a big commitment and is relatively easy to manage. Big thing would be having a place such a page could live and yoyo expert feels like the right place for it .

Hey! Thanks so much for asking about this @GTDropKnot and @Captrogers

It’s been a long time coming project that we finally have 90% of the pieces all together! We are still just finishing up the curriculum/resource aspect (and coming up with club rewards). But we do have trick cards and a finished program and we do have SnapBack starter club packs that people can purchase at a discount to start a club.

As we get that part ready to go into full swing - if anyone knows of an existing club or is running an existing club (or helping) - please go ahead and submit those clubs here! :blush:
