It’s also that “thunk” at the end of a throw that takes its toll. I’ve had yo-yos which weigh in more but feel lighter because they unwind smoothly. String, response, all play a role on the fatigue factor?

If you can track down a Chameleon Light, they’re only 102g instead of 113g.

Yes, definitely all factors in fatigue. That’s why I also enjoy tight binds.

I wonder how long it took to work out the optimal string length… (BTW, the Light can be thrown with normal length string instead of the 2 meter string the regular one requires.)
