Thanks for the responses guys. We really just wanted to do the giveaway to get a bit more exposure and give a proto away which we had promised from the beginning to the community. We didn’t expect the generator to land on the person who won and we did not feel good doing another draw. We will be having many more giveaways in the future and they will be documented so this doesn’t happen again. We apologize about all the mix up and confusion, but we were only trying to give the yoyo away fairly.

They did, I took that to mean, that they picked the winner in a manner of their choosing (in this case a random number generator) without documenting it either beforehand or afterward.

I’ve seen many giveaway operations that literally video the random selection, likely for this exact reason (and probably to drum up even more traffic and hype, maybe).
I wouldn’t read too much into that.
That statement could just as easily be read the way they’ve described it, i.e. choosing the winner with a random number generator.

We have specifically stated that we used a random number generator. I find it very odd that this is your first post in this forum. At this point, we have stated and cleared up everything that needed to be cleared up. We do not know what else you would like to hear from us.

To be fair I have no skins in this game, and I dont actually think this was rigged based on what I’ve read here. That said if hypothetically it was rigged does it matter? It was a free give away, for a free product. There was no investment made therefore 0 return should have been the expectation. If you are upset you didn’t win, which it seems is the case, there are going to be some available on YYE soon, where you can purchase the product and have the expectation of the yoyo being at your door. My 2 cents on the matter

As far as I can tell, the giveaway didn’t seem to be rigged and this may be a waste of our time. But don’t go too hard on OP, since he did bring up his concerns and now the company learned to hold more transparent giveaways in the future to avoid these types of inquiries. All in all, we should grateful that fewandfarbetween had a giveaway in the first place
