The Driftline marks the long-awaited return of World Champion Hank Freeman’s signature design, his first release under the mowl brand. Building on the legacy of the Surveillance HPF, the Driftline refines and redefines Hank’s vision for the ultimate 3A yo-yo.
Development began in 2023 after Hank officially joined mowl as an Ambassador. His main goal was to create a yo-yo with more spin power, improved stability, and longer sleep times, all essential for the demanding 3A style. To achieve this, the Driftline adjusted the shape of the HPF and increased the overall weight by about 2 grams. The weight has also been strategically redistributed to the rims for a stronger spin and enhanced stability while keeping the light, balanced feel of the HPF.
The result is a high-performance 3A yo-yo that delivers outstanding control, long spin times, and unwavering stability, built to meet the standards of a three-time World Champion.
The Driftline debuts in two signature colorways personally chosen by Hank: Red with Matte Black rims and Royal Blue with Matte Black rims. Each reflects his stage presence and performance legacy. The artwork features an eagle clutching a yo-yo, honoring Hank’s American roots and his history with Duncan. Three stars and three arrows represent his three consecutive World Titles.
