After the pre-order is closed, we will be placing the order with FPM. So there is no exact ETA for when Asora will arrive, but it’s usually 2~ months of wait when the order is made. I just want to preface this so that you understand this is not an order for Asora that I have on hand, rather we’re doing a pre-order and will need to wait for them to be manufactured, shipped, packaged and tested by me, then shipped to you. If you’re not ready to wait for a few months, then please do not place an order.
I will update everyone as we get updates along the way and give you a more exact time frame once we reach closer to having the Asora in my hands.

I know we’re all on budgets so I hope this helps everyone out and allows enough time to pick one up - also without having to worry about them being sold out and missing the chance to get one like last time.
However I’m in Japan right now so any orders for in stock Asora are going to be paused until I return from my trip; Dec 10th. Just be aware that if you order an in stock Asora (not the pink preorder) then it won’t be shipped out until I get back state side.
Thank you to everyone who has picked up an Asora. I’m happy that it’s still in peoples rotations and that it’s brought joy to people as it does for me. That’s what makes the creative process worth it.
Hello everyone, I’ve been a bit busy with life but I wanted to give you all an update regarding Asora’s pre order. I’m writing up a blog post but I just wanted to give an update here since I’m not sure when I’ll finish the blog post.
Pink Asora pre-orders are a bit delayed because FPM’s supplier for 7068 does not have any in stock. When I asked FPM for an estimated time, they weren’t sure and said that they will update me as soon as they get any information from their supplier. This was one of my fears for running a pre-order and i’m sorry about the wait.
Sagane has been on the back burner because of how difficult the design is to get where I want it to be. Ideally I had always wanted to push for a monometal steel SE design, but that’s likely not possible. There’s a lot of issues with this concept; one being that the price for a steel mono is quite expensive, two being that obtaining the play and performance I want is likely not possible unless we were to somehow source a manufacturer that could cut a different grade of steel other than 303 (which no manufacturer I talked to is willing to do). Third is that the design itself is at it’s limitations based on what restrictions I’m left with when it comes to SE’s and a steel mono. So I’ve been going back and forth on design ideas for it and haven’t been able to really solve the problems; we could ditch SE’s but I don’t really want to do that for this specific design. After a while of back and forth with tinkering in CAD and trying different ideas with more materials we came up with a really good TiSS design for Sagane which will likely be the next version of it.
Lastly, we have a few designs that will be put into production this year and are excited to release them to everyone. I’ll update again once we draw a bit closer to finalizing the designs and ideas for it. Just know, there has been a lot of prototyping and development for these designs over the last few years. We’re planning on 3 releases this year if all goes to plan and hope you will enjoy them! Here’s a little teaser of some of the protos below.
