Looks like that the Gliters in this run also have the offset Worldās
Can someone please help a Canadian out and look out for a sparkle blue butterfly?
Iāll keep my eye out for ya, but Iām not sure if blue was a color this year.
Thanks @GnarlyCharlie ā Iād love to get any colour sparkle fly. But Iām curious to see if there are blue ones, especially since thatās my fave.
Whatās shipping like from the US to you? And if blue isnāt an option, would you prefer red, orange, or green?
Last time I had something shipped it was like $10-15 but the prices have been changing and Canada Post is on the verge of a strike. I do also have a connection in Philly. So we could see, either way Iāll cover all costs.
Iād like orange please, maybe even addition to blue. Preference after that goes red then green.
Iād also appreciate a sparkle imperial in pink or orange, in that order.
Thanks bud!
No prob, I can grab those for you. Maybe @bjardin can let us know if blue is an option.
If i find one iāll send both your way (red/white/green, and sparkle blue)
Edit: i now see color preferences and the communication with Charlie. If anything falls through I got you <3
Thanks bud!
what string do yall like to play on your butterflies?
THROW-YO NECTARSā¦
Not biased or anythingā¦
I really want to try those nectars, but I have a big bag of OT normal yellow that plays amazing, so I have been using that!
The Stock string until it fades, cheap 100% poly or 100% cotton pending on how I feel. Cheap poly has a sportier feel where the cotton is slower and softer. Any string will typically do.
I play the Thick Twisted Stringz, they seem to have just the right thickness and torsion for getting a clean throw and reliable response for me.
Zipline Alphalines also work well, but they are a tad thick for my setup and cause the yo-yo to kick forward a little. Really all depends on your throw style and string length though. I play pretty long strings for responsive - the same length as my unresponsive setups.
Edit: overall I recommend strings with a pretty tight twist for fixed axle play. It provides better contact with the axle for a snappier response. Also recommend over torquing the string torsion at first while breaking the string in and then gradually letting it off as the string breaks in and the threads get locked into each other.
Note: taking the string off will disrupt this and youāll need to redo this if you ever undo the string twist.
Oh man, I have been keeping a look out for these but I doubt I will get to Target this week. I hope they play as nicely as the Unknown.
alphaline
I need these in my life lol
Currently tk or yye bulk cotton but soon throw yo nectar
My attempt at a target tour today was a no go. Iāll have to convince wife we need to go to target tomorrow or Iāll just go and get some side eye later
