I’m usually more concerned with other design factors. Size alone isn’t a very good way to gauge a yoyo’s performance. For instance, the Kickside and the Vict have almost identical effective weight distributions despite being different sizes, shapes, and materials.
Not to mention bearing sizes. Seems a lot of people like the a size bearing for 5a but then there are those that can’t stand it.
I like yo-yos that can go fast but are stable in 1a and for 5a I prefer bigger yo-yos that are really stable such as the genesis
