I’m not a fan of markings, but they definitely help identify things. Looks really wide like you say.

This side looks like a light up, with the two button batteries visible (I think). These often are auto-return on the other half. There are lots of cheap (non-Yomega) yoyos like this around, especially for brand promotional giveaways.
