I currently live in Pittsburgh, and it would be nice if someone can pick me up (my friend who said will take me cancelled last minute). I can share the expenses.
If I am unlucky I’ll fly to Philly tomorrow morning

You can take the train! It only costs about $6 to get from the airport to within 3 blocks of the event center. That’s my plan

DC to Philly is like 300 round trip for the train which is absurd to me.
That price reflects the hassle and unpredictability of driving the route. $300 for a predictable, comfortable ride from DC to Philly that I do not have to drive? Sounds about what the market will bear.
If it was East Dog Breath to North Snake Spit; the price would be much reduced.

Edit, just looked it up again, $6.75 from the airport to the hotel 
Edit again, haha, I misread this whole situation…disregard me unless you’re looking for transport from the airport to hotel
