Just saw the Clockwork on the front page and it looks friggin awesome. I don’t know much about YoyoFriends, though. I just have an AOE that doesn’t spin for more than about 10 seconds. Not my favorite. Has anyone tried the Clockwork? I’m torn between that and a Speedaholic FX (Rei signature).

I have it and I love it. Very happy with it. I’m not one to give full reviews so apologies. I have almost all of the YoyoFriends and this one may be my new fav. Will be buying another.

Well, I got a gift cert and bought a Clockwork. I really like it. But I will say it’s not really much better than my MagicYoyo V13 (Which is I really like) and the V13 was 1/4 the price. Seems like yoyos don’t necessarily get amazing with increased price. I am not disappointed at all with my purchase, though. I love the look and it plays great. Instantly one of my top throws.

Well, I’ve only been throwing for about 6-7 months. But I’ve been playing guitar for 30 years and there’s definitely a big difference between, say, a $250 guitar and a $1000 guitar. That’s all I had to go by.

A 20$ yoyo can do everything a 300$ one can do. The price scale is much smaller and the difference is even smaller.
