anodizing ( what do i need)

I’d go for it. Just wear rubber gloves and make sure you know what youre doing. I have done tons of research, and even interviewed people. So know your stuff. But I figure if i die anodizing a yoyo, then whatever. I was doing something cool. Or something like that… Don’t shock yourself because that’ll hurt really badly.

Hey it takes alot to do it but never let anyone tell you that you cant do something.I been researching for almost a year reading several blogs and learning how the actual anodizing processes works.The more you know about what you are gonna do the better the finish product is.I am finally gonna try to buy my materials to start anodizing.Start small “Good thinsg happen to those who are patient”

You can always learn titanium anodizing. It only takes a few nine volt batteries and some dish detergent. A great deal easier.

just curious, wouldn’t a measured power source make it easier to get better results? If I have paid attention the Ti anodizing process involves different colors for different colors

And to the OP, maybe meet someone who knows how to anodize near and see if they will take you on as an apprentice or something like that. That way you can have someone teach you the safe process to anodize and what you need. It will help you a lot more than anybody on the Internet

It does if you have to get the EXACT color over and over again. For one-time jobs you can just count the volts and add double A batteries to increase by 1.5v
