I put the bearing in mineral spirits but now when I flick it, the bearing feels bumpy and buzzes.
make sure you shake the bottle with the bearing a little bit and deshield the bearing. It should have some sort of buzz after cleaning but not too loud. Make sure you lube it after you do these steps.
did you put some lube in it?
you might have not letted it dry enough or you didn’t put ay lube in it so it is dry.
I meant right after cleaning. I blew the mineral spirits out.
mineral spirits dissolves the lube, so it sounds like that because of the metal on metal contact of the bearing. it will stop when oiled.
