Back in middle and high school, I used to dabble in throwing some simple yo-yo tricks, but it’s been ages. Then this past Easter ‘24, my neighbors’ kids got yo-yos that reminded me of “the brain” from the '90s, and I couldn’t resist asking to give it a whirl. Boom! That was it. I fell right back down the rabbit hole of throwing. Ended up ordering a Fireball on Amazon and had this epiphany: “Hey, I’m an adult now! I can totally splurge a bit on quality gear!” Crazy how things come full circle, huh?
