I started yo-young in the boom of the late 90’s. Started a club, taught at a parks and recreation club for kids in a small town nearby. Meet a 2a champion who happened to live in my county. Had the good fortune to visit a really great club in Los Angeles held at the Golden Apple comic book store. I even took 2nd in intermediate at ProYo competition in San Diego, Ca (I’m not bragging it really isn’t that impressive, but my kids think think it’s impressive. Lol). But I really haven’t played much since then.
I just bought my kids and myself a yo-yo for Christmas 2021. Started watching YouTube videos to learn and relearn tricks. I’m really impressed with how far YoYo’s and Tricks have progressed. I buying more yo-yos to try some of the new stuff.
I’m looking to form a club here in Las Vegas, NV. So hit me up if you are heading this way.
