it really depends on where you think the bottom is on a mint peak. arguably, the fg gold nugget could set that bar., halfswaps and the like, but i don’t know what that bottom is… and if you’re talking $300-$350, the second run market has already been surpassed. i see both markets going up briefly then plateauing. i’m always up for a discussion though!
I have a hard time believing a mint Legacy would surpass a mint original Peak. I honestly think the prices will come down a little in the Legacy Peaks. Team Editions could fetch a lot.
yeah i’m probably just gonna pass on that yoyo lmfao, def ain’t supporting this scalper market ![]()
I sold my second run magenta/lime peak last year for about $650. It was near mint with an ano imperfection and no box. I had it listed for several weeks without any offers on it at a higher price. I know one of the new Magenta/lime peaks sold for close to $400 recently. The first 28s legacy I saw on here sold for $300. So it seems after every new run they all seem to go up $50-$100. It could just be the initial runs though. Also who knows how many runs CLYW will do for these legacy peaks. These are just my thoughts on it.
I’m viewing these as the new 3rd run peaks. I’m thinking they’ll hit the 1k mark honestly.
i got two of the legacy peaks kinda wonder what they’ll go for later on in life
The last 28S LP I saw on BST went for $420.
If I’m not mistaken, there were 100 28S, 50 Magenta, and 40 Unknowns. I’m sure the last run will fetch a hefty sum from collectors based on the Unknown branding alone, nevermind the fact that it’s an iconic yoyo. Steve has said that’s it for LPs as we know them (original CAD and machined by One Drop), but may do a run machined overseas, possibly with a slightly tweaked design.
An Unknown Peak 2 went for $500 few years back of FB. So being how exclusive Legacy UNKN is… the sky is the limit ![]()
If Caribou ceases production of the Legacy Peaks, I guess maybe they could hit that. I highly doubt it though. I think there are going to make more runs too, so that’ll relieve some of the demand. I could see the Unknown version fetching that much for a couple buyers.
I havent seen any confirmation for anything for 2027 but probably might run a few more times if i had to guess, i think the unknown was the last for 2026. Seeing as they are trying to get some other models out before another run of lp, probably early 2027 or mid 2027 drop, UNLESS steve decides to put in another order if one drop can do it, I think a christmas run would be cool but who knows.
IIRC, 2nd half of 2027 is the earliest that more LPs will be run.
Edit to add: That may have been bumped up since. It seems to be an evolving situation.
If one drop can handle another order soon, I think they do it but who knows, i think the speculation adds to the hype for sure.
All true.
It also seems to come down to events/ideas to make each drop somehow unique. Running more just to satisfy demand doesn’t seem to be in the cards.
And like you say, CLYW (and One Drop, for that matter), have other projects.
Hello everyone.
Starting to think abt thinning the collection again. I have two OG peaks. One maple drip the other iron man. They are in close to mint condition. What are the rowing prices on these?
i think $550-$650, but i’ve been off in the past
What’s the damage to them?
I do not see any damage on the iron man. The maple drip has one pin prick on a rim.
There hasn’t been an iron man for sale in a while. I’d say you could get $700+. 3rd runs typically go for more, but with the pin prick it’s hard to say. $500 - $850. Multiple motivated buyers always helps.
These are both second runs. But you’re pretty accurate on price - I’d guess $500-600 for the maple drip, and maybe $600-700 for the Iron Man
Woooo doggies!
If the galactic goose is part of the thinning plz hmu. ![]()
Whoops, I thought the drip was a third run. That’s my bad!
