I used to have hundreds of G shocks. Sold them all when I lost interest, to my dismay.
Nowadays the only watch I have is a Garmin fenix 6x plus. Fantastic tool watch.

Does polishing not remove the laser engraving?? Apparently not if it’s still there…
It was probably made after polishing
Even though Spectraply is light, it’s still pretty strong. The treatment and laminating it undergoes adds to it’s strength.
I guess they must have applied the laser engraving right after they were done with polishing. The engraving is subtle, but definitely sits on top of the polished surface
