Nice. I regretfully passed on the ti kisses last week. Hopefully yye will get some stock. I hope when the ti deepest state drops there’ll be ti spikes to get as well.

My guess is that the titanium responsive will come stock with titanium spikes, which would be why we got titanium SEs a week ago but no spikes. Alternately, they just decided to do a random selection of SEs while they had some titanium in the shop.

Just to be pedantic and address the while they had some ti in the ship, in the past the ti SEs were not made in house, they were made by a shop that specializes in ti and then assembled by one drop.
With the possibility of a ti deep/deeper/deepest I don’t know if that’s going to change and they are beefing up their tooling to machine ti now or not so I don’t really have super helpful information I guess lol. But it’s interesting information at least.

One Drop have already machined a lot of titanium yo-yos over the years. Also they generally use yoyo-specific tools for every yoyo they make.
EDIT: forgot about the Trillium—it comes with a set of titanium weights.

My only mild worry about ti on ti is possible galling but idk maybe it’s fine cause there’s an o ring and junk but it would be cool regardless

I have ti SEs in my moisturmaker and no galling issues as of yet for what it’s worth.

If you guys were liking my post because you thought I was correct, then sorry to disappoint you but David says it’ll ship with Gold Micro Caps.
If there’s confirmed to be no galling then I’ll probably swap mine for titaniums, at least experimentally.
And @AudreySickburn, David confirmed that the latest run of Side Effects was also machined by Brian Fellhoelter. One Drop have been machining titanium in-house for years, but Brian makes the titanium Side Effects because he offered to do so when he was making a titanium Side Effect yoyo. I guess you could almost see it as a collab.
