I will note there are other amazing wood workers elsewhere.
@Nic_from_Adelaide has made some amazing stuff but obviously has the same way out in Australia problem sw had making shipping if anything lengthy.
Dazzling Dave also makes amazing wood when he has time. It easy to buy his stuff off his site. Those are very much optimized to play fantastic and Dave is super fun to collaborate your ideas with.
John gates also makes fantastic wood (he recently dropped some ohm on his site) unless you watch John’s site frequently, know John personally or go to club or contests with him it can be a bit hard to snag his stuff
Rich and Ed have been killing it in consistency alone though. They both have very different styles and takes on the craft but both are always making something awesome.

I have motives for collecting many of these POM, acrylic, and HDPE fixies as someone who is designing and making fixed axles in unique materials.

I kind of want the Pom knack shape in wood. It’s hard to even call that thing a knack cause it’s not really knack shaped but it would be super interesting to get that kind of cut in a wood throw

I’m sending my shop some wooden yo-yos with the metal ones I’m gifting. Like they don’t posses the ability to turn wood right now…. But what if I somehow convinced them by sending them some cool stuff if not they will be the only DLC and Boise yo-yos in China maybe and will be interesting conversation pieces for Will at least.
