What did you get in the mail, 2026?

Synaptic and Smol! These came super fast I ordered on the 20th lol. As a small/undersized yoyo hater there was something about the specs on the Smol that really made me feel like it would play nice, and I actually like it! It feels like a normal yoyo, I guess. The Synaptic is really gorgeous and feels very powerful on string. Gotta get them permatex’d so I can play them a bunch on my next day off

There’s something about Atmos that makes me buy yoyos outside of my usual spec preferences. I like the weight of the Smol, but its super tiny for my tastes. I ended up liking it though!

Also I had my Borealis on my desk and I’ll take better photos another time but size, dimension and profile-wise, the Synaptic reminds me a LOT of the Borealis, which bodes well. The Borealis was an instant fave for me. Obviously the weight and distribution is totally different and they’re gonna play different, but the feel and catch of the Borealis is nice as heck and the Synaptic is right there with it.

The new silicone is curing as we speak. I did totally wash the entire yoyos with dawn though. Pristine!

This book is becoming more of an historical document every day! I am very happy to own it.

I went into it blind, I seen yoyo, I purchased. Imagine my surprise as I’ve started reading and seeing many people I’ve interacted with here haha

It’s still becoming clear to me what a tight knit community the yoyo space is. I can say in the last year of being here on the forums and getting back into throwing in general that this is the friendliest place to be. So much drama in my other hobbies lol

I feel the same way. The yoyo community has minor drama from time to time, but nowhere even close to other hobbies. I love it here. Always feels like home.

First mail day of 26! D-bearing W1LD Adrenaline SS and Motion Synaptic! Both instantly added to the daily rotation! Not sure I’ve experienced a yoyo that manages to feel as light as the Synaptic, while still being pretty stable. First time owning a D bearing 1A yoyo, so that’s a unique experience as well. W1LD absolutely nailed the Adrenaline SS. Has that unique, solid SS feel, but is more easily controllable and faster than something like the Canopy SS. Highly recommend both of these!

It is pretty cool! They make an Ultem one but I missed the drop on it so I got the rainbow ti instead.
