I just have some nice reddish shellac I did my workbench in, I like it cause it’s made of bug stuff. I personally would just browse the hardware section
lookin slick! someday I’ll have to track down some jive of my own to see what the fuss is about
My first impressions of mine were “oh wait, so I don’t actually know how to YoYo, got it.” lol. I found it to be quite humbling, but over time it’s helped me improve my technique. It rewards clean throws and stalls and such. It’s also fun to just gravity pull and loop a bit honestly, like any decent responsive.
As with 5a, I am a 0a noob so I mean, grain of salt and all that. I can kick flip my no jive, workin on making da zines currently.
Also, pagoda is love.
I have been wanting to get a pickaxe for a long time now. Got it in the mail around noon and I put almost 2 hours on it already
. My undersized yoyo collection keeps growing and growing. Colors kinda got a Valentine’s day vibe, I love the salmon fade.
Technically didn’t come in the mail, but I found this cool little set out in the wild today for $7.99! The front says includes metal yoyo and I had to see what was up. It’s a metal imperial style yoyo, but has an axle system similar to a fireball.
I seen this book at Barnes & Noble before and it caught my attention.
It’s a cool little yoyo, nothing over the top but id say I’m happy with it for 8 dollars. The book has all the basic tricks explained.
Happy Valentine’s Day to myself! I just got a Luftverk 000 plastic and a W1ld Wildless 2. The green-purple fade on the Wildless 2 is really cool because it looks nice, but when it spins fast and smoothly it looks silver, because purple is essentially red and blue, plus the green it is basically reflecting the full spectrum (red, green, and blue) to appear neutral. I’m not certain if that was planned or not, but it is a cool little trick of color. I bought the 000 to encourage me to relax and enjoy instead of always wanting to pick up a performance oriented throw to make up for my mediocre skill.
May have gotten a little carried away with Zipline, I also got their grooved bearing, which I put in the 888 with some fresh pads and a new hubstack kit, and caps from YYF. Also wanted to try the 4 color z-stacks but they are too wide for an 888 lol. Oops.
Also got the Ded Hed Pro counterweight, which I have been loving!
Oh also, the overstuft bag up top is my collection of Throw Yo from Project Torsion!
i saw this pop up right before christmas. i was curious what tricks were in the book if it’s 48 pages. anything interesting in there?
Nothing to crazy, walk the dog, rock the baby, around the world. All the basic stuff. Although I hadn’t heard of warp drive before.
Oh the z-stacks fit, they just don’t come off… don’t ask me how I know ![]()
Zstacks on an 888 fit just fine but you have to use a piece of string tucked under and looped around to get them back off
The problem I had was they stuck out just a little bit from flush, I was hoping a flush, cap like feel. Maybe I’ll try them again tomorrow.
Im sorry
Welcome to the club
