Show the custom loop
It’s a very unconventional loop. The Corsair XD7 (pump/reservoir on the right side) is made to be put on the front of a case. I have mounted it “backwards” to place it where it is. I’ve never seen anyone do this before.. I might be the only/first to do it, lol. Modifications have been done to that specific part and the case itself to make the loop this clean.

New arrival from Boise. A custom Alpha made of Purple Heart and 28mm wide. It has the Greek Z (upper/lower case not sure) Zeta for a little Alpha.

Friday mail day! Super pumped, 08 splash 888 and 11 888. I’ve been around since the yyn days and never actually played an 888 from that era. Check another item off of the nostalgia list.

Well I probably paid too much for them, but they did not disappoint. The adult me is just as happy as the teenage me would have been back in 2008. 
If one comes up, just grab it. Worst case scenario is that you resell it to someone else who would also be happy to play with a small piece of yoyo history. They aren’t going to lose a ton of value anytime soon!

Ah makes sense, 888.11 was made in USA. Does this make it a 2010 or did they still make the 888x in 2011 also?
Also… the splash 888 was sold to me as an 2008. But now that I am doing my research, it is 100% a 2009. Clearly can see there were a few splash designs in 09 that are identical. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7xZam_BLwW/?img_index=1 (not sure about link policy on this forum).
