Perhaps the most important mail day for me in AWHILE, and for sure the longest in the making.
Some of you may remember that my beloved Canopy Ti got swiped at club about a year ago now. It was my favorite yoyo, the one I took all around the world with me (literally… to Mexico, on my honeymoon in Italy, among other places), and it had an insane amount of sentimental value because of that, and the fact that I picked it up at my first WYYC @ Stargazing night when they were released (which was like… my favorite yoyo related event EVER btw).
Although I’d love and PREFER to report that I got the one that was stolen from me back lol… I did finally muster up the will power to buy another one to replace it, a whole year later. Reason being, I very honestly had pretty negative vibes/thoughts attached to this yoyo, simply for the fact that mine got stolen. I just felt kinda burnt anytime I thought about it, ya know? Well, the combination of time healing wounds & the fact that I missed my favorite yoyo finally got me to pick one up. And man… it’s good to be back. I’m excited to daily this & create new memories with this one. Thank you to it’s previous two caretakers @Tshou & @Shoe for keeping it absolutely pristine until it reached its forever home. Cheers to new adventures with my fav!
