Great grab. 28 Stories combined with that blue translucent polycarbonate looks :fire: Any insights on how it plays that could be shared yet?

So? How do you like it and do you have an OG for comparison? It does look pretty sweet!

Thanks, I do have the 6061 and it’s my most played of anything I have. The boosted version has a quicker feel, doesn’t have the slight hang time/float of the 6061. Faster playing overall and feels lighter during play, easier to go horizontal. Still same general feel but has a more overall desire for aggressive play. Even with the flat bearing it’s very stable. Just put an NSK concave in so things should get even better.

In my limited play time with it, it had a good amount of stability, spintime, and was able to change directions quite well mid trick, but the pads aren’t very good for tight binds and should be swapped for whatever pair you like. The wide diameter wasn’t too noticeable, but the double ridge makes some grind tricks much harder

So anxious.

Thanks for sharing your insight. It’s actually how I imagined it to be. Except for the grind and bind part. But to be honest I mostly ordered the two signature splashes for aesthetic reasons. To me those are the most visually appealing throws in a long time. On the other hand I also really do enjoy my C3 Speedaholic FX and I can’t help to compare those two hybrid models in my mind (although they most likely play pretty differently). In case I run into the same problems in terms of binds I’d happily change the pads for some red Duncan pads. I like how they feel and I figure they’ll go perfectly with the 28 Stories color scheme.

Yeah, those red Duncan pads have a very nice bite to them.
