Titanium Chopsticks and a sloppy Domino. Domino is probably the first new trick I’ve learned in like two years. Thanks @sakatuca and @Augie
Been loving this new to me kamikazicide element!
Silly 5A tricks are good and I’m honestly kinda tired of hearing people on other platforms imply that it’s not real 5A or it’s bad/boring if either the yoyo/counterweight remain in a static position for a bit.
5A is inherently cool, if you’re using a counterweight at all in your tricks then they’re based. I don’t know who needed to hear this, but it felt good to type. (and this trick is always fun to share)
Hah feel free to vent all you want with sick tricks bc this was super cool and fun.
Edit: I thought the whole must be moving thing comes from the way the scoring system works not like what’s cool or not. I personally find the continuous pinwheels while doing stuff a little boring but I like that too. My fav 5a to watch is 5a with lots of huge aerials but I like this trick bc it was surprising and that’s fun. Also based.
I just love Glow in the Dark.
I don’t know much about 5A, or what’s “good” or “cool” or whatever. But, that trick reminds me of something JonRob might do, and I always thought his style was the coolest. Nice trick.
The not scoring part is accurate, but for some unknown reason a lot of people also just have really strong opinions about what is/isn’t real 5A even in a casual context… instead of just being happy seeing people string up a counterweight at all.
Non 1A styles need growth in any capacity. Being negative about people actually playing them at all, even if you don’t like their tricks, is just so weird to me.
100% I see that and people can have pretty fixed ideas about what is or isn’t and what should or shouldn’t be and it’s like nah no fences yall
Here is bad iwasawa tower but I’m stoked to be landing this finally
Edit: also shoutout to @p44company for sharing the older hook around the world video
Here’s a simple but cool looking rail combo I learned a few days ago from the YouTube channel Throw that I been working on. I just realized recently you can Eli hop into the string above. I been just popping it up. It’s my new favorite thing to do in tricks.
Peperoni Drone by Tyler Vienneau
New combo of the week while in holidays in my hometown, having a nice time and practicing a lot here even again the extreme heat and humid wind, at the end of the video one of my best mates show how a yoyoer look in the eyes of a non yoyoer
Hope you like it much love
